CT DEEP Draft MS4 Stormwater :

In accordance with the requirements of the CT DEEP General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems, residents of the Town of Bolton are hereby informed that a draft pdf of the 2024 MS4 Stormwater Annual Report, which summarizes municipal stormwater compliance activities conducted within the Town of Bolton during calendar year 2024, will be posted on the town website on or before February 15, 2025 for a forty-five day public review and comment period prior to the draft being finalized and submitted electronically to the CT DEEP on or before April 01, 2025. Residents are hereby encouraged to review the report and submit written comments between February 15, 2025 and March 31, 2025. All comments should be addressed to Wade Thomas, Town MS4 Consultant at wthomas@nlja.com.

Bolton Lakes Regional Water Pollution Control Authority

The Towns of Bolton and Vernon are under a DEEP Consent Order that requires them to install sewers in the Bolton Lakes area. Detailed information can be found on the fact sheets below. For general questions, please contact sewers@boltonct.gov

If your sewer alarm goes off turn off the alarm by pressing the silence button underneath the alarm panel. Limit water usage. If the alarm light is still active after an hour, then call the number below for service.

You may pay by credit card or electronic check over the internet. A nominal fee will be charged by our vendor, Point and Pay. Please see "view and/or pay online" You may call the Vernon Tax Collector’s Office with any questions at (860) 870-3660.

Please Note: Fee is 2.95% for Credit Cards or $2.00 for E-Checks. E-Checks usually process in 5-7 days.
