Declaration State of Emergency - Burn Ban:

The Town of Bolton has officially declared a State of Emergency to reinforce the State of Connecticut's Burn Ban. Due to the prolonged period of extremely dry weather coupled with the very dry ground and no immediate rain forecasted there is NO BURNING PERMITTED.  This declaration will stay in effect until the state removes its declaration and the state of emergency is lifted.

We’ll enjoy the fresh air and scenery and hopefully catch some blooming roses at Elizabeth Park on Thursday, June 16 (rain date June 17). We will provide a picnic lunch and cold beverages. You can choose the level of activity you would like - sit and chat with friends, take a stroll or view the roses and other gardens. We strongly encourage you to bring a folding lawn chair (please label with your name) and a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms are available at the park. Van leaves the Senior Center at 11 a.m. RSVP required by June 9. $5 per person. Email seniorservices@boltonct.org or call 860-647-9196 to register.
