National Kids to Parks Day
Join Bolton Recreation Director Stephanie Crane and Conservation Commission Chair Rod Parlee for the 12th annual kids to parks day this May!
Kids to Parks day helps kids and families develop more active, healthy life styles and create lifelong memories and educational opportunities. All ages are welcome to join in the kids to park day events.
The Hike will begin at 10:00 am, please dress appropriately for the weather and arrive to Herrick Park early to ensure you do not miss us.
Sturdy water proof footwear is highly recommended. The hike will be 1.5 miles long and take about an hour and a half. Dogs are not permitted on the hike. If there is heavy rain the hike will be cancelled, any cancellations will be posted to the Bolton Recreation Department Website. Bring a picnic for lunch prior to the hike and spend the afternoon in the park! Scavenger hunts and activity booklets will be provided on a first come first serve basis following the hike.
The event is free to the community! Invite your family and friends to come along.
