Declaration State of Emergency - Burn Ban:

The Town of Bolton has officially declared a State of Emergency to reinforce the State of Connecticut's Burn Ban. Due to the prolonged period of extremely dry weather coupled with the very dry ground and no immediate rain forecasted there is NO BURNING PERMITTED.  This declaration will stay in effect until the state removes its declaration and the state of emergency is lifted.

Holiday Closures:
  • Town Offices: Closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Reopen December 2.
  • Bentley Memorial Library: Closed November 28–30. Reopen December 2.
  • Trash & Recycling: Delayed by one day starting November 28.

April Book Discussion: The Lives, Lies and Spies of Action & Adventure

Join us at Bentley for an in-person book discussion of Ian Fleming's From Russia, With Love. This is the third discussion of a three-part series ‘The Lies, Lives and Spies of Action & Adventure’. This discussion will explore the many facets of the author's life and how his experiences are reflected in his novels. This novel will have the discussion option of a Tuesday at 6:30 or a Wednesday at noon. Registration is required. Copies of the book are available at Bentley.
