Shipwreck, survival, savagery and a naval court martial are some of the issues David Grann explores in his non-fiction book The Wager.

Join us as we explore David Grann's riveting non-fiction account of the HMS Wager's final voyage. Grann attempts to impartially review all the conflicting reports of blame and mutiny, leading the reader to develop an informed opinion on the true fate of this British ship. We will explore the route this naval expedition took and examine navigational instruments of the day.
