Public Information Session regarding the First Selectman's Salary - Immediately following the A/P meeting.

A Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget for the Town of Bolton for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2025, will be held on April 22, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. (following the BOS A/P Meeting and the Public Information Session Regarding the First Selectman’s Salary) at the Bolton Town Hall located at 222 Bolton Center Road, Bolton, Connecticut.

Copies of the Proposed Budget, First Selectman’s Salary and Ordinance(s) will be available for public inspection beginning April 17, 2025, at the Town Clerk’s office at Bolton Town Hall during normal business hours.

BOARD CLERK(S)

The Town of Bolton is currently accepting applications for the position of 
Board Clerk(s). The person hired will attend board and commission
meetings, take minutes and prepare for filing in a timely manner with
Town Clerk and Web Master. The knowledge, skills and abilities necessary
for Board Clerk are as follows:

* MUST have previous experience as a board clerk.
∗ Must be available for entire meeting
∗ Computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word
∗ Reliable, dependable and punctual
∗ Able to work independently
∗ Able to produce grammatically correct minutes to Town
specifications
∗ Ability to meet deadlines*

*Notice of Actions are required to be filed within 48 hours of meeting; and
minutes are required to be filed within 7 calendar days after meeting.

Pay rate is based on the length of the meeting: 
Up to 1 hour $75; 2 hours $100; 3 hours $125
Over 3 hours: $25/hour additional each hour
