TAX COLLECTOR’S NOTICE:

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Bolton that the Supplemental Motor Vehicle Tax Billing shall become due and payable on January 1, 2025.  Interest at the rate of 1 ½% per month will be charged for all taxes remaining unpaid for one month after the same became due.  Minimum interest charge is $2.00 per bill.  Taxes paid after February 3, 2025, shall become subject to interest from January 1, 2025.

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission, at its February 8, 2023 regular meeting, approved:

  • Peter DeMallie’s appl. to modify a Special Permit to allow part-time use for religious assembly & as-needed prep of humanitarian packages/emergency relief items at 180 West St (Highland Meeting Room) (#PL-23-1) with 6 conds.
  • release of Global Montello Group Corp’s $300,000 Site Improvement Bond for work completed at 129 Boston Tpke.
  • 90-day Extension to file plans with Town Clerk to 05/09/23 for Asim Etem’s Special Permit #PL-22-7 at 60 Villa Louisa Rd.
  • under C.G.S. 8-24, recommended to Board of Selectmen approval of improvements to 130 Hop River Rd for a parking area for a trail head.
  • continuing the public hearing on amending the Zoning Regulations re: cannabis (#PL-22-6) to 03/08/23.
