REMINDER FROM TAX OFFICE:

Supplemental Real Estate, Motor Vehicle and Personal Property taxes are currently due.  These bills need to be paid or postmarked by November 3, 2025, to avoid interest.  Real Estate tax bills that are escrowed by your mortgage lender were sent to them for payment.

ONLINE TAX LOOKUP AND PAY

If you don’t receive a tax bill, please check the link above or call our office for the amount owed.  Failure to receive a tax bill does not invalidate the tax and/or interest.If you plan to use your bank’s bill pay, please make sure you allow sufficient time for your bank to process and mail your check so that it is received by the delinquent date.  These checks come to us WITHOUT a postmark.  Interest will be added if received after November 3rd.

Building Code and Building Inspector

Adopted June 25, 1969


The Town of Bolton having complied with the provisions of Section 19-395 of the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut, 1958 Revision, does hereby adopt the State Building Code including any rules or regulations incorporated therein by reference.  The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Bolton shall appoint a Building Inspector to administer the above code for a term of four (4) years and until his successor qualifies and quadrennially thereafter beginning with the effective date of this ordinance.  This ordinance shall become effective July 1, 1969.
