FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:In recent weeks, the Capitol Region in Connecticut has grappled with the aftermath of storms, experiencing snow, flooding, and power outages that underscore the risks posed by natural hazards. For two decades, the region's communities have actively participated in the development and adoption of a natural hazard mitigation plan, with updates implemented every five years.

The Commission approved Permit 2023-8 (IW-23-8) – 9 Lyman Rd - construction of 2-bay, 26’x26’ detached garage.Delegated to Agent for Issuance: Permit 2023-9 (IW-23-9) – 199 Hebron Rd – replacement of a septic system and associated grading.

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission, at its December 13, 2023 regular meeting, waived Zoning Regulations Sections 16A.4.g.2 and 16B.5.b. and granted an extension to file plans with Town Clerk to 4/18/24 for all approvals under  Special Permit for Veterinary Hospital/Emergency Care, 233 Boston Tpke & 12 Williams Rd (Bolton Vet), Veterinarians of Eastern Connecticut LLC (#PL-22-3).
